In order to provide for the vulnerable population in the Republic of Serbia and to remediate the damages caused by the floods, the competent services of the Republic of Serbia currently need the assistance in obtaining aluminum boats, helicopters, tents and blankets, as well the Government of the Republic of Serbia opened the following bank accounts where cash funds could be transferred in order to help the population. It is suggested that humanitarian aid is given directly in cash due to the fact that of the ever changing need for certain commodities, as well help is needed urgently, customs procedure involves a certain period of time, the distribution of the received materials to the flooded areas can be a difficult task.
