Second Joint Session of the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Cyprus was held in Nicosia on 30th November 2018, chaired by the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić and the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Anastasiades.

The delegation of the Republic of Serbia consisted of : First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dačić, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Nebojša Stefanović, Minister of Mines and Energy Aleksandar Antić, Minister for European Integration Jadranka Joksimović, Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development Mladen Šarčević and Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and President of the Commission for Missing Persons of the Government of the Republic of Serbia Veljko Odalović.

After the ceremonial welcome and laying of a wreath at the monument to Makarios III, President Vučić met with Cypriot President Nikos Anastasiades, while the ministers held bilateral meetings with their counterparts from Cyprus.

Following the Joint Session of the two governments, members of the delegations of Serbia and Cyprus signed, in the presence of the President of the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Cyprus, the following interstate treaties:

1. Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus on Cooperation and Bilateral Political Consultations, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dačić and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus Nicos Christodoulides;

2. Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of European Integration of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus on cooperation in the field of European Integration, signed by Minister for European Integration Jadranka Joksimović and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus Nicos Christodoulides;

3. Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia and the Office of the Presidential Commissioner of the Republic of Cyprus on Cooperation on Diaspora Issues, signed by the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dačić and Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs of Cyprus Fotias Fotiou;

4. Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Cyprus on cooperation in the field of education, signed by the Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development M. Šarcević and the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Cyprus, Kostas Champiauris;

5. Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Cyprus on cooperation in the field of sport was signed by the Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development M. Šarcević and the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Cyprus, Kostas Champiauris.

President Vučić also met with Chrysostomos II, archbishop of New Justinian and all of Cyprus, and signed in the book of impressions.

It was agreed that the next Joint Session be held in Belgrade in 2019, as well as the Trilateral Summit Serbia-Cyprus-Greece.
