Lieutenant Colonel Dragan Petković, officially assumed duties on February 27th 2019 in Nicosia as Defense Attache of the Republic of Serbia in the Republic of Cyprus, on a non-resident basis.

A special curiosity in the relations between the two countries is the fact that Lieutenant Colonel Dragan Petković is the first Defense Attache of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Serbia on this position in the Republic of Cyprus.
